Set up by Nicolò Pozzoli aka "Nick Recordkicks" in 2003, we're a Milan based independent record label & music publisher specialized in new & rare funk, soul, headz, grooves & dancefloor jazz with over 100 releases under the belt. We're home to The LIBERATORS, NICK PRIDE & The PIMPTONES, MILANO JAZZ-DANCE COMBO, TRIO VALORE, BABY CHARLES, ITALIAN SPIDERMAN soundtrack, DIPLOMATS OF SOLID SOUND, KOKOLO AFROBEAT ORCHESTRA, SOULFUL TORINO RECORDS, DOJO CUTS feat Roxie Ray, LINK QUARTET, CRABS CORPORATION, SOULSHAKER & Let's BOOGALOO compilations, Record Kicks 45s and much more. Among others Record Kicks can count on the support of DJ Andy Smith & Jazzman Gerald who respectively compiled for us Let’s BOOGALOO vol.4 and vol.5 comps, DJ Snowboy, Mark Lamarr, Kenny Dope and Dr.Bob Jones. Set up in 2003 alongside the record label, Edizioni Record Kicks is a small, smart and active independent music publisher registered at SIAE - the Italian collecting society - working with the Record Kicks catalog of artists and musicians.
